Sweden 2011 - Nicke Borg - Leaving Home


By crikey! The singer from Backyard Babies has gone and got himself in the Swedish final! How the heck did that happen? If you know his old band's previous output you may be surprised by what's on this clip. But while it might not be as noisy as most of his back catalogue, it's not without power. Lovely power, at that.

(Oh, and be warned - the Swedes are notorious for shutting down YouTube links, so if this vid suddenly disappears I'll try and dig you out another!)

    It doesn't surprise me one bit, that he is doing MF... Sweden is well known for their intense fondness for Eurovision. It's like a national sport there. They have always been able to get big names to do it. They love the whole thing. Hence, their pre-selection is one of the most popular in Europe.
