Italy 2011 - Anna Tatangelo - Bastardo
Italy are back in Eurovision for the first time since 1997. Rumour has it that they are choosing their artist from the ranks of this year's San Remo - the massive five day domestic song contest on which the original idea of Eurovision was based. Well they should look no further than this absolute stunner of a hate/love ballad by the slightly frightening Anna Tatangelo.
The stuffy old EBU would never let it happen, of course, if only for the very non-Eurovision title. But this one's got 'comeback winner' written all over it - and it absolutely widdles over everything else that's been picked so far this year!
