Norway 2011 - The Lucky Bullets - Fire Below

This year's Norwegian selection is a pretty interesting mixed bag. After their win a couple of years back, the pressure is off, and so they've got a lot more adventurous in their choices this year. Alongside the usual ballads and schlagers we've seen Norse metal, sweet-faced emo, African dance, slightly bonkers folk and Kelly Clarkson-alikes.

But my fave of the bunch is this bunch of well-studied rockabillies with a Gene Vincent fetish. It's scarcely psychobilly, but in this context it works gloriously!
